Welcome to Ayanna Bradford's Journey

Ayanna is a 5 year old spunky little girl who became ill suddenly on June 2, 2011.  She has been diagnosed with the following:

*  Myocarditis
*  Right middle cerebral artery stroke with thrombosis of the right middle cerebral artery and right internal carotid artery.
*  Progression of acute ischemic stroke
*  Deep Vein Thrombosis of the left common femoral superficial veins and popliteal vein.
*  Status post decompressive craniectomy
*  Gallstones
*  Pancreatitis

Ayanna has been hospitalized at CookChildrens Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas since June 2nd, 2011.  This site is to document her journey all the way to her recovery and for the rest of her life.  Becoming a "public diary" for her as she gets older.  This journey will be long, but we would love to share each and every day with everyone encouraging those to "Just Keep Swimming" when times get tough!
